Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Ripple – Stay Connected ("Ripple", "we", "us", or "our"). Ripple is owned and developed by Navjo Synk Solutions (Pvt) LTD. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Ripple mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Services").

By accessing or using Ripple, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Ripple. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter these Terms.

2. Account Registration & Security

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity conducted under your account. Ripple is not liable for unauthorized access caused by your failure to secure your login information.

3. Platform Overview

Ripple is a social discovery and event platform that allows users to:

  • Discover people and events via a live map
  • Apply to become verified event hosts
  • Create, promote, and sell event tickets
  • Purchase tickets and attend events
  • Request payouts for completed events

Ripple does not organize or host events unless explicitly stated.

4. Location-Based Features

By enabling location services, you consent to the display of your approximate or real-time location on the map. Location sharing is optional and may be disabled at any time.

5. Host Accounts & Identity Verification (Sensitive Data)

Users may apply to become hosts by submitting required personal identification and verification documentation. By submitting an application to become a host, you acknowledge and agree that:

You are providing your explicit, written consent to Ripple – Stay Connected (all data controlled and processed through Navjo Synk Solutions) to store and process your personal identification documents for identity verification and fraud prevention purposes.

You have the right to withdraw this consent at any time. To withdraw consent, you must contact Ripple Support at support@ripplestayconnected.com or the Data Protection Officer at dpo@navjosynk.com. Your request will be acknowledged, and you will receive a response within 72 hours. Please note that withdrawing consent will result in the immediate suspension or termination of your host status.

Host approval and continued eligibility are subject to Ripple's review and discretion.

6. Event Creation & Event Verification

6.1 Event Creation

Approved hosts may create events and sell tickets through Ripple. Hosts are fully responsible for the accuracy, legality, and execution of their events. Ripple is not responsible for last-minute changes, cancellations, or content of events hosted by third parties, but we will provide support in line with our policies to resolve any issues you may face.

6.2 Optional Event Verification

For each event created, hosts have the option to request Event Verification by submitting additional documentation through the application. Event Verification may include, but is not limited to:

  • Venue confirmation or booking documentation
  • Permits, licenses, or approvals
  • Artist or vendor agreements
  • Any other supporting materials requested by Ripple

Verified events may be displayed with a verification indicator within the app. Event Verification does not guarantee attendance, ticket sales, or event success. Ripple reserves the right to approve, deny, revoke, or remove Event Verification at any time.

7. Events, Tickets & Refund Policy

7.1 Ticket Purchases

All ticket purchases must be completed using Ripple’s in-app payment system. Ticket pricing and availability are determined by the host.

7.2 Refund Policy

  • Full refunds are issued only if an event is officially cancelled, either by the host or by Ripple administrators.
  • No refunds will be issued for completed events, missed attendance, or personal scheduling conflicts.
  • Refunds are processed to either the original payment method or to the EcoCash details provided per ticket purchased, subject to payment processor timelines.

Ripple may issue refunds where required by law or where fraud, misrepresentation, or policy violations are identified.

8. Host Payout & Revenue Share Policy

8.1 Payout Structure

By creating a paid event on Ripple, the host agrees to receive 95% of the gross ticket sales, with Ripple retaining the remaining portion as a platform service fee.

8.2 Payout Eligibility & Automated Decision-Making

Hosts may request payouts only after an event has occurred and must satisfy one of the following conditions:

Option A: Ticket Verification Threshold

At least 50% of purchased tickets must be verified during the event.

Option B: Event Proof Submission

  • If the verification threshold is not met, the host must submit evidence confirming the event occurred.
  • Evidence may include photos, videos, attendance logs, or other materials requested by Ripple.
  • Once approved, the payout may be released.

You have the right to request human review of any automated decision by contacting our Data Protection Officer (DPO).

8.3 Failure to Meet Payout Conditions

If neither condition is met:

  • The host must contact Ripple Support at support@ripplestayconnected.com
  • Ripple reserves the right to hold payout funds or issue refunds to ticket buyers
  • Failure to provide sufficient evidence, or communication may result in permanent withholding of funds

9. Promotional Features & Marketing Consent

By selecting any Ripple promotional packages, the host grants Ripple permission to market and promote the specific event on the host’s behalf, in accordance with the selected package’s scope and duration.

10. User Conduct

You agree to use the app only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:

  • Violating any applicable law or regulation
  • Posting or transmitting harmful, offensive, or illegal content
  • Impersonating another individual or misrepresenting your affiliation
  • Attempting to hack, disrupt, or overload our systems
  • Misusing the platform to harass or exploit others

Violation of these rules may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.

11. Content & Intellectual Property

All content within the app, including trademarks, logos, images, text, software, and design elements, is the property of Ripple – Stay Connected or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or exploit any part of the Service without express written consent.

By uploading content, you grant Ripple a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use such content for platform operations and marketing.

12. Privacy

Your use of Ripple is governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your data, including your rights regarding consent and automated decision-making.

13. Suspension & Termination

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Service at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms, disrupts the app, or poses a risk to other users. You may also delete your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us.

14. Service Modifications

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any feature of the app, temporarily or permanently, with or without notice. We are not liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service.

15. Disclaimer of Warranties

Ripple is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties regarding events, hosts, or platform availability.

16. Limitation of Liability

Ripple’s liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law and shall not exceed the amount paid by you to Ripple in the preceding 12 months, if any.

17. Governing Law

These Terms and any disputes related to your use of the Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Zimbabwe, without regard to its conflict of law principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Zimbabwe.

18. Data Security and Breach Notification

We are committed to protecting your data. In accordance with the Cyber and Data Protection Act, in the event of a data breach, we will notify POTRAZ within 24 hours and affected users within 72 hours if the breach poses a high risk. Our detailed procedures are outlined in our Privacy Policy.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be effective when posted in the app or on our website. Continued use of the Service after updates indicates your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage users to review this section regularly.
